Newcastle Jets Owner Nathan Tinkler has been cited by Football Federation Australia for allegedly breaching its code of conduct.
Mr Tinkler is accused of launching a 15 minute rant at Newcastle Herald journalist Robert Dillon after last Friday’s home game against Sydney FC.
He has until next Friday to explain his actions to FFA.
If found guilty he could face a fine or bans.
