ARMIDALE POOL NEEDS CHANGE
The future of Armidale’s public pool will be up for discussion later in the year, after a dramatic drop in visitation numbers over the summer.
The pool closed today, and despite the season operating with lower admission fees, it recorded 5,000 less than the previous year.
Council is expected to consider a proposal to keep the centre open during the April school holidays, in the coming months.
