HOLIDAY PARK ANGER OVER REMOVAL OF TREES

Residents at Arrawarra north of Coffs Harbour have reacted angrily to the removal of trees at the local holiday park.

They’re also concerned the move could be part of the owner’s plans for more residential development on the site.

  1. Balanced reporting on the Arrawarra issue. However the RFS has erred, because their own report said that there was a “LOW bushfire risk”. The owners have somehow managed to have the RFS agree to the removal of 40 large trees nevertheless. How did this happen? I have photos which prove that there was NO bushfire risk. The woman you spoke to is correct in that the owners intend to level the area and put in housing, which will mean that many long term residents will have nowhere to go, nor will the possums, parrots and other wildlife. The whole affair is simply a greedy corporate land grab. If you make further inquiries you will find that I am right.
