A curious koala has taken a night-time stroll down a main street in Port Macquarie.
Cars came to a standstill on Clarence Street, as he made his way from shop to shop – finally coming to rest on a metal hand rail at the Glasshouse entertainment centre.
Affectionately known as Clarence Neville, the 3-year-old was then taken to Port Macquarie’s Koala Hospital for overnight care.
He was released this morning at Stuarts Park.
