Although they’ve been conducting classes at the new school since March, today Gunnedah’s GS Kidd Memorial School was officially opened.
The $6.5 million facility, which caters for 35 students with a disability, is three times the size of the old premises.
“We are so well supported by the community and we are ever grateful, we feel like we’ve won the lottery.”
The upgrade includes the replacement of demountable classrooms with four permanent classrooms, a new library, hall and a hydrotherapy pool.
