CYCLISTS RIDE FOR CHARITY

There was a big display of pedal power on the Gold Coast today for the GC100.

More than 300 people crossed the finish line following an arduous ride of either 100 or 50 kilometres.

Many of them coming from further afield.

“We have riders that actually come from New Zealand, south Australian, Victoria and NSW but we have people drive hundreds of kilometres so it is well regarded.”

The event aimed to raise $15,000 for homeless charity Rosies, and Rotary Oceania Medical Aid.
