The new Harrington Men’s Shed is just a few months away from opening its doors.
The 400 square metre building is all thanks to a $37,000 grant from the Newcastle Permanent.
There’s still a bit more work to be done, before the Shed’s 87 members can move in.
“We’ve got to do fit out yet and we still need a bit more money to get tools and fittings inside so we’re still looking for money, um but hopefully we’ll have it all done by the end of November, early December.”
The members have been without a shed since February.
