AGL has admitted it made mistakes when reporting some political donations to the Department of Planning and Environment.
An external review, conducted by Deloitte, found three donations totaling $11,000, weren’t reported on time, while AGL sought approval for its Gloucester Gas Project Pipeline Modification.
The report also found $250 wasn’t reported, while the company was applying to drill 110 coal seam gas wells at Gloucester.
AGL says it sought legal advice and didn’t have any obligation to report to the department because its application was made before October 1, 2008.
However the company is examining this matter further, because 14 donations totaling more than $52,000 may not have been reported in the appropriate time frame.
