A Biggera Waters man is tonight behind bars, the alleged mastermind of an elaborate property scam.
Darryl John Loane was last night arrested on his yacht, today he faced court where he was remanded in custody.
After a year of searching, Police swooped on the luxury vessel which had been anchored off North Stradbroke Island.
Police alleged he’s a fraudster and tried to sell two vacant lots at Benowa, despite not owning them.
It’s understood they belong to overseas investors.
