A body has been found amongst the rubble of a Runaway Bay home destroyed by fire at the weekend.
Police found the body of a man in the bedroom… an area at the back of the property they labelled ‘the danger-zone’ – where they believe the fire first started.
There have been grave concerns for the missing home-owner – Bradley Steel – since the blaze…with countless efforts to contact him over the past 4 days – all failing.
Police today confirmed they DO believe the remains belong to the young father of 2.
“We believe that the fire probably was deliberately lit. We still don’t really know how by – or why. But we are treating it as ‘suspicious’ at this stage anyway.”
