A $30,000 upgrade of Lismore Local Court has made it easier for locals to receive important information.
In the last few weeks all four courtrooms have been fitted with brand new digital sound and picture recording devices.
The technology will see a drastic change in the way proceedings are transcribed, while also offering greater support to the public.
“It will also support the people that have attended court in having anything any record that they want transcribed it will provide that opportunity here no locally rather than waiting for it to come from somewhere else.”
