The Tweed’s a step closer to boasting a state-of-the-art sports centre with the Federal Government putting five million dollars toward the project.
The $42 million facility at Arkinstall Park will include international standard tennis and netball courts.
Richmond MP Justine Elliot made the announcement today..
“It’s great news for our region especially with the Commonwealth Games in 2018 what a great facility for teams to be training at here in South Tweed with world class facilities.”
