A mid north coast bakery has taken top honours at a major industry competition in Port Macquarie.
Wayne Morrison, who created this masterpiece for Bel’s Bakery, steered his business to five first placings at the New South Wales Baking Industry Association’s competition.
The trophy haul led to the bakery being named the show’s most successful cake exhibitor.
Queenslander Dean McCudden took out the award for the most successful bread exhibitor, while Sydney’s Lee McNeill produced the champion loaf.
This year’s show attracted 350 entries from 78 bakeries.
