Byron Bay police say they’re sick and tired of having to respond to alcohol fuelled violence in the town.
It comes after seven assaults were reported over the weekend.
The most serious, an alleged fight between two men on Shirley Street early Sunday morning that left one man with a fractured shoulder.
Police say the weekend would have been worse, if it wasn’t for additional police on the beat as part of operation Ballast.
