ZERO NET ENERGY COORDINATOR TO BE APPOINTED
Uralla’s Zero Net Energy project has taken another step forward.
Today council and the community group behind it was granted $50,000 from the state government.
A paid coordinator will now be employed to oversee the project, which is expected to reduce the community’s power consumption by up to 70 per cent during stage one.
Applications for the new role will be called for in coming weeks.
