The recent weather events in south east Queensland and northern New South Wales have prompted fresh concerns about the safety of a proposed 200-lot subdivision north of Coffs Harbour.
The concept has been given preliminary approval by the state government, but residents and councillors say the area is at the mercy of mother nature.
