Newcastle’s Dimi Petratos made the 26-man squad on the back of an impressive campaign in the A-League.

Former Jet Andrew Nabbout, who’s now playing in Japan, is also a step closer to representing Australia at the World Cup.

Meanwhile, Newcastle has confirmed Argentine import Pato Rodriguez won’t be offered a new contract.
