Wests Entertainment group has confirmed discussions are underway with Tennis New South Wales, for a major upgrade of the Tamworth Tennis Club.
The $5-million proposal includes installing new hard courts and upgrading the clubhouse.
A ‘show’ arena is also included in the plans, to allow the facility to host national and international tournaments.
However, the project will need state and local government funding to go ahead.
