STUDENT LEADERS RAISE IMPORTANT ISSUES WITH MEMBER FOR COWPER

Student leaders from schools across Port Macquarie and Kempsey sat down with Member for Cowper Luke Hartsuyker today for a youth roundtable.

The students exchanged views about a number of issues including local recycling strategies, and young people going into trade and art industries opposed to studying at uni.

“It helps us take these ideas back to our own school and be able to implicate them as a response to waste management and other issues in our community” – Emma Davidson, Student.

Mr Hartsuyker says he will raise the issues on the floor of Parliament.
