Now to soccer, and it appears Matthew Ryan’s controversial trial with Scottish side Rangers is back on.
The Central Coast keeper is expected to arrive in Glasgow early next week, after turning out for the Mariners in their clash with the Melbourne Victory on Saturday.
Attacker Berni Ibini will also be making the trek overseas – he’s set to travel to Belgium on Sunday for a trial with Jupiler Pro league heavyweight club, Brugge.
The Australian youth international will now miss next Saturday’s F3 derby thriller against the Newcastle Jets.
He’s due back for the Mariners round 18 clash with Adelaide United.
