Uralla Shire Council has received more than $780,000 to improve facilities at seven parks across town.
The upgrades will see the areas become better equipped, safer and have a greater family focus.
More than half of the funding will go towards Pioneer Park, opposite the Visitor Information Centre and Thunderbolt Captain statue, as a drawcard for travellers.
