CUTCLIFFE JERSEY FOUND

The rugby jersey of former Pirates player Jack Cutcliffe has been recovered and returned to his family.

It was stolen during a break-in at the Pirates’ club house on Tuesday afternoon, along with televisions and alcohol.

But the framed memorial jersey of 16-year-old Cutcliffe, who passed away from a heart-related condition last year, was irreplaceable.

The Pirates and police have thanked the community for their help in returning the jersey to his family.
