THREE CHARGED OVER ARMED ROBBERY AT GLEN INNES SERVICE STATION

Three people have been charged over an armed robbery at a Glen Innes service station on Monday night.

At around 10pm, a man and woman entered a service station on Church Street, allegedly armed with a carving knife.

Police say they threatened a male worker, before stealing cash and fleeing the scene with another man.

The two men – aged 21 and 23, as well as a 22-year-old woman were arrested yesterday and charged with robbery offences.
