FORMER NRL PLAYER PAUL CARTER AVOIDS JAIL TIME

Former NRL player Paul Carter has avoided jail time after being sentenced for drug charges.

The former Roosters player supplied cocaine to his ex teammate Shaun Kenny-Dowall during a night out at the Ivy nightclub last year.

He was today placed on a two year good behaviour bond after completing a stint in a rehab clinic overseas.

He’s signed a one year deal with Cessnock Goannas, but it’s believed he has yet to be registered by Country Rugby League.
