Guyra residents will soon have access to a recycling initiative started in Armidale several years ago.
Back in 20-11 the City to Soil program was developed by local council.
Kitchen waste collected from residents, was then turned into high-grade, organic compost at the city’s waste management facility and sold back to the public.
More than $200,000 will now be spent rolling out the program to Guyra residents, in a bid to further reduce organic waste in landfill.
