Two men have been charged in relation to a major school fire on the Gold Coast last year.

Fire crews extinguished a building fire at a school on Tallebudgera Creek Road in Tallebudgera late on April 25th in 2016.

As a result of a 19-month investigation, a 19-year-old Tallebudgera man has been charged with two counts of arson, and a 20 year-old Coolangatta man has been charged with one count of arson.

It follows arson charges being laid against a 20-year-old Mermaid Beach man also in relation to the fire.
