WITNESSES SOUGHT FOLLOWING GOLD COAST HIT-AND-RUN

Police are renewing appeals for witnesses of a hit-and-run accident on the Gold Coast last week that seriously injured a man in his 60’s.

The man was walking along Wuraga Road in Bahrs Scrub near the intersection of Prangley Road just after 7:30pm last Thursday, when he was hit by an unknown vehicle.

The 62-year-old remains in a serious condition in hospital.

Any members of the public who may have witnessed the incident,or who may have dash-cam footage, are urged to contact police.

In particular, police are looking for a white utility that may have damage to a side mirror.
