MAN CHARGED OVER ALLEGED CENTRAL HUNTER VEHICLE THEFTS

An 18-year-old man will face court next week in relation to a string of vehicle thefts in the Central Hunter.

Police believe a syndicate was responsible for stealing the vehicles and then exchanging parts for drugs.

Investigations led to the arrest of the man on Tuesday this week, and he was later charged with two counts of stealing a motor vehicle, and goods in custody, among other charges.
