GROTH RETAINS NSW COUNTRY SPOT

Tamworth cricket star Tom Groth has been selected for his 10th straight New South Wales Country Cricket tour.

The wicket keeper starred behind the stumps for Central Northern at the recent country titles.

He’s hoping to help the Bush Blues defend their 50-over title at January’s Australian Country Championships in Western Australia.

Tamworth’s Jeff Cook will coach the side.
