FIERY CRASH ENDS GRATON POLICE PURSUIT

Police were hot on the tail of a driver near Grafton this morning, but called off their chase moments before the car slammed into another and burst into flames.

The fiery crash forced the closure of the Pacific Highway at Ulmarra for several hours.

Both drivers were taken to Coffs Harbour Hospital, and somehow escaped serious injury.
