The Northstars have had a dream end to the regular season, claiming a 14-3 win over the Adelaide Adrenaline last night.
Newcastle only held one-nil lead at the end of the first period, but then went on a scoring spree, netting number 14 with a minute left in the game.
The Northstars will host Perth in the semi-finals at Warners Bay on Saturday.
