Train travellers can expect disruptions between Werris Creek and Moree, with New South Wales Train Link temporarily suspending services.
The organisation is now working with the Australian Rail Track Corporation to resolve a monitoring system issue.
Buses are replacing trains between the two locations until further notice.
Services between Werris Creek and Armidale have not been affected.
