WOMAN STABBED IN GOSFORD HOME INVASION

A 28-year-old woman was rushed to hospital early this morning after being attacked in her Central Coast home.

Shortly after 1am, a 22-year-old man allegedly broke into a West Gosford home through a window.

Police say he then approached a bedroom, where he allegedly slashed the woman several times with a knife.

She suffered multiple injuries, including a possible punctured lung.

The man fled the scene and was arrested by police who were patrolling the area.

He was refused bail to face Wyong Local Court tomorrow.

Too many home invasions attacks on the central coast some have never been solved due to level of police corruption within the detectives unit stemming out of the Entrance with some these detectives now been promoted to higher ranks because of the liberal mates who weaken the ICAC and Ombudsman powers.
