Port Macquarie-Hastings Council has built a temporary rock wall on a badly-eroded section of Town Beach.
Big waves and high tides have eaten away at the sand dune in recent days, leaving the footpath exposed.
It’s hoped the rocks will prevent further damage, until more repairs are conducted.
