MEAT PROCESSING PLANT FINED OVER WORKPLACE DEATH

A meat processing business in Frederickton, on the Mid North Coast has been fined $375,000 following death of a worker in 2015.

The 28-year-old father died after becoming pinned in a forklift accident at Macleay River Protein.

Safe Work New South Wales found that the employee was not licensed to drive the machine at the time of his death.
