Firefighters continued to battle an out-of-control bushfire 50 kilometres east of Armidale today.
Five water-bombing helicopters have been called in to contain the blaze that’s burnt almost 30,000 hectares.
The helicopters are also helping firefighters contain a blaze in the Guyforks National Park that has spread from 400 to 1200 hectares in windy conditions.
