EXTRA FUNDING FOR SCHOOLS

Public Schools at Old Bar, Wauchope, Lake Cathie and Coffs Harbour are set to receive funding for new classrooms and staff facilities in tomorrow’s state budget.

Member for Coffs Harbour, Andrew Fraser, also confirmed this afternoon that Coffs Harbour Public School will receive around $5-million.

The money will pay for the construction of a new library and staff facilities as well as the refurbishment of two classrooms at the school.

Meanwhile Grafton High and Urunga Public School will receive funding for the installation of wireless technology to improve internet access.
