PORT VENTURE CRUISES INTO TOWN

A new cruise boat has arrived in Port Macquarie, just in time for the busy Christmas party season.

The $1.5-million Port Venture was brought down from Queensland overnight to its new home.

Within minutes of arriving at the town wharf, the 18-metre vessel started to draw a crowd.

The boat is owned by the local Rosendahl family and will be operated by skipper Brian Lambert.

It is fully wheel chair accessible on the lower deck, and will be used for whale watching and river cruises.
