A 24-year old man has been treated in hospital for lacerations to his face and arm after he was attacked outside a tavern at Chittaway Bay overnight.
Police believe the man was hit with a schooner glass after attempting to break up a fight between two men in a carpark just after 7:30.
Police later arrested and charged a man in Berkeley Vale.
He will face Wyong Local Court next month.
