HOT IN THE COFFS CBD KITCHEN
Cook-offs are the rage right now, and today the tasty craze reached Coffs Harbour.
Two amateur chefs went head-to-head with award winning Emerald Beach chef, Dustin Bowie-Ford.
All three had an hour to cook their signature dish using local ingredients.
Ellen Brennan went to work on a banana leaf salad, while Keith Street chose to make pasta from scratch.
In the end, it was Mr Bowie-Ford’s swordfish with smoked tomatoes that won over the judges.
The cook-off was organised by the Growers’ Market, with the aim of encouraging more residents to use local produce.
