19 CHARGES LAID IN TARGETED CENTRAL COAST POLICE OPERATION

A 19-year-old man will face court after police allegedly located 73 MDMA tablets during the search of a car at Erina, as part of a targeted police operation over the weekend.

On Friday and Saturday, police attended licensed premises across the Central Coast, targeting venues where drug activity was suspected.

As a result of the operation, eight people were arrested, and 19 charges were laid, while a further 24 vehicles were subjected to random drug and/or alcohol tests, with five vehicles being searched.

The 19-year-old man from Bluehaven will face court in April, charged with supplying a prohibited drug.
