Meanwhile, Adam Melling has been wiped out of the Australian Open of Surfing in round five.
Earlier in the day, he managed to pull off a win in round four against Brazil’s Luel Felipe and Rafael Teixeira in difficult conditions.

The Lennox Head Pro scoring a combined wave total of 11.20 – ahead of Felipe in second place with 9.97.
