TEEN FACES STRING OF STEALING CHARGES

A 17-year-old male is facing a string of charges, accused of stealing a number of cars on the Central Coast.

Police say they’ve been investigating the teenager since 2015.

It’s claimed this Nissan Navara dumped on Wamberal Beach in November last year is just one of the four vehicles allegedly stolen.

It took emergency services hours to remove the vehicle from the popular walking spot – the damage to the ute so extensive the teen is also facing property damage charges.

He’s been granted conditional bail and will face Woy Woy Children’s Court next month.
