TEENAGER INJURED IN SERIOUS CRASH ON THE CENTRAL COAST

A 16 year-old boy has suffered a serious arm injury after the car he was travelling in crashed and rolled, pinning him underneath.

He was in the front passenger seat when the accident occured on Warrah Trig Road, at Pearl Beach at around 5 o’clock yesterday afternoon.

The three other occupants left the vehicle without injury, and the driver fled the scene.

The injured boy was airlifted to Royal North Shore Hospital, while police established a crime scene to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Police are still looking for the driver.
