VEHICLES TARGETED IN GOLD COAST SHOOTINGS

Police are investigating after a number of vehicles were shot at on the Gold Coast overnight.

Shortly before 2am on Thursday, shots were fired into a car parked in the driveway of home Felling Drive at Maudsland. No one was injured.

At around 3:30am, a man was driving on the Pacific Motorway at Rochedale when he saw the driver of another vehicle pointing what he believed was a firearm towards his car then heard what turned out to be bullets hitting the side of his ute. The 30-year-old male driver wasn’t injured and the offending vehicle was last seen taking the Logan Road exit.

At around 8pm, a 56-year-old man was driving on the Pacific Motorway at Coomera, when his car was also damaged by a projectile. A suspect vehicle was reported taking the Foxwell Road exit.
