BACKERS BREAK GROUND ON CORAKI ‘HEALTHONE’

Construction of the $4 million integrated healthcare facility to replace Coraki’s Campbell Hospital has commenced.

Clarence MP Chris Gulaptis and project backers turned the first sod of Coraki ‘HealthOne’ this morning.

When complete, it’ll provide GP, allied health, drug and alcohol and mental health services, along with an Aboriginal medical service.

“We’ve got a tailor made facility that’ll meet the needs of this particular community.”

“There’ll be a broader suite of allied health services and clinic services. So, people will see an increase, in availability of access for services.”

The Northern New South Wales Local Health District hopes HealthOne will be operational by Christmas.
