POWERSTATION PLAN ADOPTED

A strategic plan has been adopted by council for the Tamworth Power Station Museum.

The document sets out how the museum will attract more visitors over the next four years.

It also details the need for more space, to expand the exhibition.

“They’re busting at the seams you know they’ve got very limited display opportunities there, their collection has grown quite large.”

Council hopes the museum will play a larger role in its overall tourism strategy.
