The Armidale RSPCA held its second annual Blessing of the Animals at Armidale Catholic Cathedral.
It’s one of few church services in Australia that allow proud pet owners to have their furry friends baptised.
All animals were welcome, but it was mainly canine companions who took part in the service yesterday.
While some lapped up the attention, others couldn’t figure out what all the fuss was about.
