Two of our region’s most dangerous black spots will get much needed upgrades, with the federal government allocating more than $150,000.
Wardell Road at Meerschaum Vale will be resealed between Bagotville Road and Lumleys Lane, and will have curve alignment markers installed.
While traffic calming measures will be added at the intersection of Swift and Grant streets at Ballina, including a central median strip and stop signs.
The upgrades should begin in the coming financial year.
