Newcastle’s religious leaders have joined forces to promote peace.
It’s part of a campaign encouraging schools, residents and churches to display messages of hope.
“You look at the state of the world today. We have people displaced all over the place by war and so-on. The atrocities of war itself. Peace is desperately needed in our time.”
The Give Us A Sign campaign is running throughout May.
